Chey brings deep expertise in trade, regulatory reform, infrastructure, and private sector development. Renowned for shaping public policy and economic strategy, Chey builds trusted networks across government, industry, and civil society to drive sustainable development and inclusive growth.
Global & Regional EngagementChey has held over 40 board, committee, and advisory roles, and has led national task forces driving reforms in tax, procurement, public finance, infrastructure, health, education, and standards.
He has represented Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands in key trade and policy forums in APEC, ABAC, WTO, ACP, MSG, PACER+, USMFT, PIFS and PICTA, and has played pivotal roles in bilateral engagements with Australia, the EU and UK, US, Indonesia, China and ASEAN.
