Nasfund is pleased to announce the upcoming 6th Annual Employer Awards, set to take place on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at the APEC Haus in Port Moresby. This event marks a significant occasion on Nasfund’s yearly calendar, dedicated to honoring employers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their employees’ superannuation throughout 2023.
The Nasfund Annual Employer Awards celebrate employers who prioritize their employees’ financial well-being and retirement planning. By recognizing these outstanding employers, Nasfund aims to inspire others to uphold similar standards, fostering a culture of responsibility and care towards employees’ financial future.
Nasfund’s Chief Executive Officer Rajeev Sharma, is enthusiastic about the event, stating, “We are thrilled to host the 6th Nasfund Annual Employer Awards. This platform allows us to highlight employers who understand the critical role of superannuation in securing their employees’ financial stability.”
“This is the 2nd year, Nasfund has engaged an external auditor to meticulously review all nominees, ensuring transparency and trust in the selection process.” Said CEO Rajeev Sharma. This initiative underscores Nasfund’s commitment to maintaining transparency, thorough guidelines and fostering strong relationships with employers.
The best-performing employers who have been compliant with the Superannuation General Provisions Act 2000, especially sections that govern timely remittance of contributions, proper onboarding of new members with correct biodatas captured, and other related correspondencewill be awarded according to the following categories:
• Category A – Employers contributing more than K100,000 per month.• Category B – Employers contributing between K50,000 and K100,000 per month.• Category C – Employers who contribute less than K50,000 per month.
Winners from these three categories will then be based on the respective awards as follows:
