An Interim Crediting Rate is determined based on the projected performance of the fund's investments and prevailing market conditions during a specific period. It is a preliminary rate set by the fund administrators to provide an initial estimate of returns on members' accounts. This rate is subject to adjustment once the actual investment performance and financial results are finalized, ensuring that the final crediting rate reflects the true earnings of the fund for that period.
